Our Team & Professional Standards
At Glosna, we work with a diverse team of therapists at different stages of professional development, all supported within an ethical, supervised & professional clinical framework. In Ireland, counselling & psychotherapy are currently largely self-regulated professions while national regulation through CORU continues to develop. As a result, therapists typically become members of professional accrediting bodies which set standards around training, supervision, ethics, personal therapy, ongoing professional development & clinical practice. All therapists working within Glosna House are required to work within clear ethical and professional standards appropriate to their level of training and accreditation. Please note that clients wishing to claim back through private health insurance should check directly with their individual provider and policy, as cover varies significantly. In most cases, insurers require the therapist to be fully accredited with a recognised professional body for sessions to be eligible for reimbursement.
