She holds a deep belief in the innate self-healing abilities of individuals and creates a safe, compassionate space for clients to explore their challenges and navigate their personal journeys toward profound healing and self-realisation.
Grounded in her extensive experience in mental health social work, somatic therapy, yoga, and mindfulness, Ciara takes a holistic approach to therapy. She integrates mind, body, and spirit, offering personalised interventions that foster inner growth, resilience, and lasting transformation.
As a certified EMDR therapist for four years, Ciara employs evidence-based trauma processing techniques that complement her dedication to guiding clients through healing and post-trauma growth. She is actively pursuing further EMDR training with the goal of achieving trainer accreditation, deepening her expertise in supporting emotional resilience.
Ciara’s work spans early intervention, youth mental health, and consultation with the Australian Childhood Foundation, providing her with a rich understanding of human experiences across all life stages. Her human-centred approach emphasises compassion, authenticity, and trust, creating an environment where clients feel supported and empowered to heal.
In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Ciara is a certified Kriya and Kundalini yoga teacher. She incorporates empowering breathwork, gentle movement, and mindfulness into her sessions, equipping clients with lifelong tools for self-care, balance, and holistic wellbeing. Currently, she is exploring Yin Yoga as a means of releasing stress and trauma from the body.
Over the years, Ciara has empowered hundreds of clients to embrace their personal journeys toward a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time in nature with her labrador Misty and Labradoodle Bert, as well as music, dance, cooking, and continued learning.
