The KMA Clinic
Treat the cause. Not just where it hurts.
What if the pain in your shoulder wasn't actually about your shoulder?
What if the tension in your neck started somewhere else entirely?
For many of us, pain, stiffness and restricted movement become something we simply learn to live with. We treat the area that hurts, only to find the discomfort returning again and again.

The KMA Clinic at Glosna House offers a different approach.
Rather than focusing on one painful area, KMA looks at how your entire body works together. It recognises that the body is one connected system, where tension, imbalance or restriction in one area can influence how another part of the body feels and functions.

Because sometimes where it hurts... isn't where it starts.
What is KMA?
KMA is a specialised whole-body treatment method developed in Hungary
by Kovács Magyar András.
Rather than treating isolated symptoms, KMA assesses how your body moves, compensates and adapts as a whole. By working with the body's natural movement patterns and interconnected structures, the treatment aims to improve mobility, reduce muscular restriction, restore balance and support the body's own ability to function more efficiently.

Every appointment is completely individual. There is no routine treatment. No two people move the same way. No two bodies compensate in the same way. And no two treatments should ever be the same.

A Personalised Approach
One of the things that makes the KMA Clinic different is that every appointment is tailored specifically to you.

Depending on what your body needs on the day, your treatment may include:
-
KMA Bodywork
-
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
-
A combination of both approaches
Rather than following a fixed sequence of techniques, every treatment is guided by careful assessment, clinical knowledge and an understanding of how your whole body is working together.
Our goal isn't simply to help you feel better for today. It's to help your body move, function and recover more naturally.

"Your body has an incredible ability to adapt. Sometimes those adaptations help us. Sometimes they become the reason we continue to hurt."

Meet Marietta
Marietta Koczka brings more than 15 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork, combining specialist training with a thoughtful, intuitive approach that sees every client as an individual.
She is one of the few therapists in Ireland trained directly in the specialised Hungarian KMA method, having studied under its founder, Kovács Magyar András.

Alongside her expertise in KMA, Marietta is also a qualified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist and Reflexologist, allowing her to combine specialist techniques whenever appropriate to create treatments that are completely tailored to each client.
Clients often describe feeling:
-
Lighter
-
Freer in their movement
-
Less restricted
-
More balanced
-
Deeply restored
Not simply because muscles have been treated, but because their whole body has been given the opportunity to reset . . . .
