Rachel Barton
Training Psychotherapist

Rachel is a trainee psychotherapist in the final year of her BA in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy at ICPPD ZestLife, Dublin. She is a student member of the IACP and works under professional clinical supervision.
Rachel works with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, and significant life changes and transitions. She is committed to providing a warm, respectful and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients can explore what is happening in their lives at their own pace.
Her approach is integrative, drawing on humanistic, relational and psychodynamic perspectives, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of her work. Rachel understands that what initially brings someone to therapy may be just one part of their story and that, with time and trust, therapy can offer an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, our experiences and the patterns that shape our lives.
Rachel brings warmth, compassion and genuine curiosity to her work. She believes that feeling safe, heard and accepted is an important foundation for meaningful therapeutic work and supports each client at their own pace towards greater self-understanding, self-compassion and positive change.
