Aisling Flood

Training Psychotherapist

Aisling Flood

Aisling holds a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Studies from IICP College where she is now a 4th Year student on their BSc (HONS) Degree programme. Aisling is a student member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP) and has experience working with clients presenting with addiction, anxiety, and trauma.

In her past career, she worked supporting 3rd level students & young adults. Through this work she realised the amount of challenges facing younger people these days, particularly maintaining good mental health which fuelled her growing interest in the area of mental health.

Aisling focuses on an integrative and person-centred approach with clients, believing an empathic, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic alliance between client and therapist is key. She believes that within us all is an innate ability to work through life’s challenges and difficulties, given the right support & environment. With this in mind she aims to provide a safe, inclusive and non-judgmental space to the clients she works with.

Aisling continues to grow & learn as a therapist in training, by attending CPD courses and participating in Supervision, Group Therapy and Personal therapy.
