Megan Dermody

Megan is fully accredited with the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP). She has completed an undergraduate degree in addiction studies and a Bsc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

 

Megan works in a humanistic and integrative way within the therapy room pulling from a range of modalities including Person Centred, CBT, Psychoanalysis, DBT & Mindfulness. She aims to support clients by creating a safe non-judgemental space where clients can explore their needs & goals. She is committed to aiding clients in empowering themselves to make the changes they would like to see within themselves and their environment.

 

Megan continues to grow as a therapist by regularly attending CPD courses, is in active supervision and is always open to learning. She has recently attended trainings covering the following: Disorder Eating, Mental health and Relationships, Somatic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Introduction to Domestic Violence and Abuse and Coercive Control, QPR training for suicide intervention & OCD in children.
