Geraldine Kennedy

Geraldine is an accredited member of IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy); a registrant of ICP (Irish Council for Psychotherapy) and a member of EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy). She has more than 10 years of clinical experience working with adults as a psychotherapist.
Geraldine’s core training is in Integrative Psychotherapy, incorporating Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Gestalt and CBT. Her way of working has continued to evolve and is informed by modalities that include working with a body-centered approach and working with trauma and developmental injury.
An integrative therapeutic approach is used based on the individual client and their goals for therapy. The co-created therapeutic relationship enables the client to self-discover and become more self-aware of their life situation and relationships with the aim of enabling the client to live their life in a more satisfying and resourceful way.

Diploma in Integrative & Humanistic Psychotherapy with the Tivoli Institute, Dublin.
Post-graduate training includes:
Level I - Trauma and
Level II - Developmental Injury with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute (Colorado, USA). This training addresses the interaction between traumatic, attachment and developmental issues.
