Mary Conroy

Mary is a trainee therapist in the fourth year of a BSc (HONS) degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling in IICP and has a certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the same college. As a student member of IACP, Mary adheres to their ethical framework and values and works exclusively with clients over the age of 18 years.

 

Mary is a compassionate & warm and recognises the courage it can take to begin therapy. She aims to create a relaxed, safe environment that will allow her clients the space to explore and discuss concerns, worries, challenges, struggles and thoughts. Mary hopes to offer her clients the support they need to uncover & nurture their unique potential. 

 

Mary wholeheartedly believes self-acceptance and self-care are key to bringing about positive change in our lives and her therapeutic approach is person centred and integrative. She has worked health and wellness industry for 20 years and recently in a voluntary capacity supporting people in addiction recovery. To support her work and educational development, Mary attends regular workshops, seminars and supervision with a senior psychotherapist.
