Laura Clark

Training Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist

Laura Clark

Laura Clark is a training Humanistic and Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with specialist training in Play Therapy. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy and is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Play Therapy and Psychotherapists (IAPTP). Laura has recently begun advanced training in Psychotherapy.

Laura brings over 12 years of Social Care experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents and carers who have complex backgrounds and support needs. It was through this work that she developed a strong interest in supporting young people therapeutically as they navigate challenging life experiences.

Laura works from a child-centred and integrative approach, recognising play as a child’s natural language. Through creative and expressive methods such as play, art, storytelling, sand work, and movement, she provides a safe and supportive space where children and adolescents can explore their emotions and experiences in ways that feel natural and non-threatening.

She meets each child with warmth, empathy, and openness, supporting them to build emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence. Laura is committed to creating a therapeutic relationship where children and young people feel heard, understood, and supported as they work through difficulties and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
