Marion Byrne
Psychotherapist
Marion holds a first-class honours degree in Counselling with Addiction from Munster Technological University. She also attained a certificate in Gambling Addiction in June 2022 & is a fully accredited member of IACP. Marion attends regular supervision and is committed to continued personal & professional development.
Seeing the therapeutic relationship as central to the
process of healing, Marion welcomes every client with warmth and acceptance. Using an integrative client centred approach, she provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment from which the client can explore past experiences to better understand themselves, and find more satisfying ways of living.
She believes that each person is unique and has the ability to connect with their own inner strength, supporting them in developing a stronger sense of well-being. Marion also practices in a family resource centre, and has experience working with a diverse range of clients dealing with anxiety, addiction, depression, bereavement & loss, childhood trauma, life purpose, relationship & work-related issues, coping skills, self-esteem and self-compassion.
Marion sees self-care as an integral part of living a whole life. The greatest display of self-care is simply showing up for ourselves, and being present
in the moment. Like the seasons, we are ever changing and with the right supports we can move forward towards inner peace contentment and happiness..
