Psychotherapist

Marion Byrne

Marion is a qualified psychotherapist who holds an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Munster Technological University. She is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and attends regular professional supervision to maintain high standards of care.

Marion works with individual adults and couples, providing a safe, compassionate space to explore life’s challenges, reflect on past experiences, and understand how they shape the ways we cope and relate in the present. She holds a Professional Certificate in Couples Counselling and supports partners in improving communication, recognising and respecting differences, and fostering deeper connection within relationships.

With specialist training in addiction, including a Level 8 Certificate in Gambling Addiction, Marion brings insight into the impact of addictive behaviours on individuals and relationships. She helps clients develop healthier coping strategies, build resilience, and find balance in their lives.

Working from an integrative, humanistic approach, Marion works collaboratively with clients, tailoring each session to their needs and pace. She supports clients facing life transitions, stress, anxiety, low mood, and relationship challenges.

Through reflection, self-awareness, and discovery, she encourages clients to reconnect with themselves, explore their inner strengths, and grow into the best version of themselves. Marion believes in the importance of curiosity, self-compassion, and finding hope even in difficult times, and she welcomes new clients seeking support and growth to begin their journey of self-discovery and connection.
