Deep Tissue Massage 1 hour treatment €50
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, lower back tightness, and sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. To do this, the massage therapist uses direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles. When muscles are stressed, they block oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the muscle tissue. A deep-tissue massage helps loosen tight muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. Because many toxins are released, it's important to drink plenty of water after a deep-tissue session to help eliminate these toxins from the body.

Indian Head Massage has been practised in India for over a thousand years as part of everyday family life as a form of grooming. It was brought to the west by Narendra Mehta in the 1970's and the therapy was extended to include the face, ears, neck, shoulders and upper arms. Indian Head Massage works on areas affected by mental and emotional stress. In Western culture today we spend much of our time in our heads, so this treatment can really help to calm the mind and is deeply relaxing. Indian Head Massage is part of the Ayurvedic system. Ayurveda, the “Science of Life” is an ancient Indian medical system, believed by many to be the oldest medical system in the world. The goal is to clear blocks in energy channels that cause a build-up of negative energy that are believed to cause a range of ailments. It is based on acupressure massage, and its benefits are felt throughout the body. It works on the areas of the body that are most affected by stress, however while the treatment is just on the upper part of the body its effects are felt throughout the mind and body.
This treatment combines Indian Head Massage with the ancient art of reflexology. By working on your head neck and shoulders and then moving to your feet, this treatment offers you the best of both treatments. Ideal for those who want to experience the healing and stress relieving benefits of both, a real treat for your head and feet.
This treatment is for pregnant mothers over the first trimester (12 weeks). This treatment helps to promote pure relaxation for both mother and baby whilst improving circulation and mobility within the joints. This massage is specifically tailored to treat the needs of pregnant mothers, by helping relieve general fatigue as well as soothing tired, tense muscles in the back, neck and shoulder area due to all the changes the mother’s body is undergoing during pregnancy. Carrying a baby changes the pregnant mother’s centre of gravity which in turn puts a lot of stress on the back neck and shoulder muscles. Pregnancy massage aids the circulatory and lymphatic systems, which keeps blood flowing to both the mother and the baby. It stimulates different glands in the body, which help to stabilize hormone levels, and relieves nervous tension throughout the body. And the nurturing touch during pregnancy massage promotes relaxation and provides emotional support. Pregnancy also changes an expectant mothers posture, by rotating the pelvis forward to support the growing baby and prepare for birth, this change may lead to an aching lower back as well as tightness in the gueteal muscles, all of which can be helped by this one hour pre natal massage.
