By recognising that illness and stress affects not only our physical but also our emotional, spiritual & mental well-being, we can allow holistic massage to encourage the body's natural healing abilities to come forth & balance the entire body as a whole. This treatment is soothing, deeply relaxation and promotes overall wellbeing.

The therapist uses a range of massage techniques to work on tensions and stresses in the body, tailored to your personal needs using the holistic approach.

The Holistic Facial

A Holistic Facial is not only a wonderful way to relax and promote a sense of well-being, but this holistic facial will also improve the texture of the skin, increase circulation and encourage rejuvenation and cellular activity.
It incorporates a unique blend of highly effective techniques drawn from both Japanese Face Massage & Indian Face and Head Massage.

The force known as chi is believed to flow through energy centres & meridian lines all over the body affecting health & wellbeing. This facial massage helps to balance these energy centres by using finger pressure on facial meridians and pressure points, helping to release any blockages and releasing the energy flow.

Reflexology is a natural complementary therapy that works on the basis that all parts of your body have key links to certain areas in your extremities, namely your feet, legs, hands, face and ears. It has existed in some form for thousands of years, with Egyptian and Chinese natural medicine confident of its benefits.

Throughout the years it has developed as an expert technique and has been recognised in the Western world since the early 20th century. Most commonly, reflexologists focus on using massage and applying pressure to specific parts of your feet with an aim to promote overall well-being throughout the body. Reflexologists believe that you can positively affect organs throughout your body using touch and pressure on its corresponding part in the foot.

Deep Tissue Full Body Massage
1 Hour Session €50

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, lower back tightness, and sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. To do this, the massage therapist  uses direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles. When muscles are stressed, they block oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the muscle tissue. A deep-tissue massage helps loosen tight muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. Because many toxins are released, it's important to drink plenty of water after a deep-tissue session to help eliminate these toxins from the body.

Aromatherapy Massage
1 Hour Session €50

Aromatherapy massage is the alternative therapeutic technique which combines the natural therapeutic properties of the essential oils and the healing power of massage therapy. Aromatherapy uses essential oils that promote healing derived from plants to achieve many therapeutic benefits. These oils are the concentrated essences taken from the flowers, fruit, seeds, leaves and bark of certain plants. With the pressure of today's modern society, aromatherapy with its holistic approach to health and wellbeing, can be used to intervene and prevent long term problems occurring. It not only has powerful physical, emotional and mental effects but it is also a great relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The benefits of aromatherapy massage affect a wide range of health conditions of nervous, circulatory, lymphatic, immune and muscular systems. It promotes mental clarity, relaxation, stress and headaches alleviation.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage has been practised in India for over a thousand years as part of everyday family life as a form of grooming. It was brought to the west by Narendra Mehta in the 1970's and the therapy was extended to include the face, ears, neck, shoulders and upper arms. Indian Head Massage works on areas affected by mental and emotional stress. In Western culture today we spend much of our time in our heads, so this treatment can really help to calm the mind and is deeply relaxing. Indian Head Massage is part of the Ayurvedic system. Ayurveda, the “Science of Life” is an ancient Indian medical system, believed by many to be the oldest medical system in the world. The goal is to clear blocks in energy channels that cause a build-up of negative energy that are believed to cause a range of ailments. It is based on acupressure massage, and its benefits are felt throughout the body.
